I took Caleb to the doctor’s on Tuesday (almost 3 weeks old). He is doing
great. He didn’t really like having his heel pricked for the PKU test but he did okay. Here are his growth results.
Weight: 9 lbs. 15 oz. 75th percentile
Length: 21.5 inches 75th percentile
Head: I can’t remember but is was in the 50th percentile.
Sage also went to the doctor’s for her 4 year old check-up. She was in the 5th percentile for weight and height. She also got her Kindergarten shots and was not happy at all. She did better than I thought she would though.

So, we tried to take some pictures of all the kids with Caleb to mail with the baby announcements. They didn’t turn out as well as I had hoped although we did get some really cute pictures of the kids, just not together.
Jayden loves to ham it up for the camera.
Here at the twins having a ton of fun teasing each other.

Sage loves the camera although getting her to smile is a trick.

The girls love to goof off together.
Okay so those were the great pictures of the older kids before we put Caleb in the picture. The second we added Caleb Braxton started to cry which upset Caleb and made the girls act even more funny. The best picture we got of all of them looking at the camera is the second one. The cutest is the third one.

So after trying to get a good picture will all the kids I decided to let each of them take a turn holding Caleb. Some of the pictures turned out very cute.

So needless to say after all the hundereds of pictures we took there isn’t one that is being sent with the baby announcements. I guess we will try to take more this week.

Well, we are happy to report that the CF test results are in. Caleb does not have CF, but he is a carrier of it. That means he will need to be careful when he has kids to get his wife checked to see if she is a carrier.
Caleb is doing well and weighs in over 9 pounds already. He is a great baby. He hardly cries and loves his swing, being held, or just laying on the floor. Caleb sleeps great at night for the most part. He only begs to be fed every 3-4 hours most of the time. All the kids love him and want to be around him. We are having so much fun with Caleb and enjoy having him in our lives and family.

Well, I am now home with Caleb. I am not sure how I am going to handle all the kids together, but I am glad Kip will be around for a few more days before going back to work. Caleb is doing great. He sleep pretty well, he nurses well, and he even lets the kids attack him.
Giving birth to him was not so much fun. He was face up and never turned so I ended up pushing for 90 minutes with only a 30 second break between each contraction. He finally arrived at 9:25 pm. He weighed in at 8 pounds 9 ounces. What a CHUB!! Sage was two pounds lighter and the twin together only weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce. He is so cute. We aren’t sure who he looks like yet.
The kids came to see him on Thursday at the hospital. They held him and found all of his fingers and toes and then they moved on to playing on the bed like it was a roller coaster ride. Thursday night in the hospital was much better and I was able to get some much needed sleep. We arrived home today to three kids who missed mommy way too much and who all wanted their turn holding Caleb all by themselves. We are glad Caleb is doing so well and that he is finally here!
Here is Caleb just before going home.

Here is Braxton, Sage, Jayden and Kip each holding Caleb.
