What a Cute Picture

Caleb is growing up so fast. I thought I would post a picture of how big he is getting. He can now roll over from him back to him tummy.

Kip’s dad and 3 of the youngest sisters came for a visit in July. It was great. His dad came to take two of the girls to BUY Camps and then spend time canning food. Well, the canning food didn’t work out to well at the time. Kip managed to take some time off and his dad came and helped clean out the storage room. I know what you all are thinking, “How bad could cleaning out a storage room be?” Well, lets just say, Kip lived here for 4 years before we got married and had some roommates leave some things behind, had a few mice visit, and weavels in the dry food. There we also shelves in the middle of the room and you couldn’t walk around very well, or store thing properly. We also found tons of things to get rid of. Kip and his dad removed the shelves in the middle of the room and cleaned everything out. It looks so good now. I acutally moved all the food I had been storing in cupboards and drawers from the kitchen to the storage room. We are now working on getting our food starge up and emergency items in place. The kids loved having the aunts around. We went to their campsite the last night they were here for a BBQ, playing in a sprinkler and feeding ducks. The kids still talk about their visit and how much they miss the aunts and Grandpa.

At the beginning of August we went and spent a night in Park City. Kip’s work paid for one night for the company party this year. It was so much fun. We went and met up with everyone for dinner. We took the kids to ride on the carousel and we also went swimming. The kids thought it was the greatest sleeping away from home. I also got in some shopping at the outlets. I found some good deals on clothes for next summer. Getting away was nice, but I forget how much work it is to bring all of Jayden’s machines along. (Sorry, all the photos of Jayden didn’t turn out.)

We love to take the kids to a little stream in Cedar Hills. There is a park and huge grass areas. There is also a little stream lined with trees on both sides. The kids love to run around in the water and build dams to stop the water. It is great fun to watch the kids play here. In July, we took a picnic dinner and played in the water. We even put Caleb’s feet in which he loved. We let the kids bring toys to play with in the water. Braxton chose to bring his loader and thought is was pretty cool that it could carry rocks. Here are some photos from our adventure.

Caleb was three months old yesterday. I would have posted but the internet was down until this afternoon. He is doing great. Caleb weighs around 14 pounds. He loves his playmat, swing and bouncer seat. He also loves to be held, talked to, pushed on walks, and is not as fussy anymore. He still sleep pretty well at night. Although I wish he was sleeping through the night. He is much bigger than our other kids have been and so it was shocking to see him not fit in his baby bathtub anymore. He will be growing out of his carseat sometime in the next month or so. He is sure growing up fast. I still have a hard time thinking it was three months ago he came into our family. I love to sit and play with him. He will sometimes laugh for me, but if Sage is playing with him he will really start to giggle. Caleb is a joy to have!
So, for Mother’s day in May Kip bought me this Baker’s Edge pan. You can cook any kind of dessert in it that you normally cook in a 9×13 pan for the most part. This means if you like the edges of brownies you can have an edge for every cut. This pan is AWESOME!!! I use two packaged of brownies (since I don’t have a great homemade receipe) and my brownies are cooked great every time. Never over done at the edges and underdone in the middle and they don’t sink in the middle. They are perfect!!! The pan was bought on Amazon.
